Originally established to celebrate George Washington’s birthday, President’s Day has evolved into one big celebration for all our United States Presidents. Celebrated on the third Monday in February, President’s Day is now a federal holiday.
With the day off, our family is planning to accomplish some housekeeping items. We are also going to read a little more as February is a shorter month for my kids to reach their reading goals.
Enjoy your day off celebrating our Presidents, who were allowed to run our country according to God’s perfect plan. For a few President’s Day activities, check out Kaboose. The powdered wig cracks me up. Keep using time wisely as you enjoy today.
Happy President’s Day!
