Happy St. Patrick’s Day! I hope you have your green on. Even if you don’t, you sure are lucky because Walgreens has an offer for you. 😉

Walgreens is offering a FREE 8×10 photo enlargement on any single picture.

If you would like a collage, you need to create the collage and then upload it as one picture. My favorite collage builder is Pixlr – which is FREE.

You will need to login or sign up for a FREE Walgreen’s account, upload your photograph, and checkout. At checkout, enter promotional code MARCH8X10, choose store pickup, and place your order.

This FREE offer is valid through Wednesday, March 19, 2014 with a limit of one FREE enlargement per account. The order must be placed by midnight, but you may pick up your enlargement when you are by your selected Walgreens.

If you have a great snow day picture or St. Patrick’s Day photo, then this FREE offer is great for updating photos on the wall or to save for a gift. With Easter, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day on the horizon, you can get a jump start on a gift your recipient will enjoy.

Thank you, Walgreens, and happy savings on this St. Patrick’s Day!

Question: How do you use these FREE photo offers?

2014: St. Patrick’s Day Activities

2014: St. Patrick’s Day Activities

2014: St. Patrick’s Day ActivitiesAre you ready to get your green on? St. Patrick’s Day is on the horizon. For the one who does not wear green, be prepared to get pinched. 😉

My children have been carefully planning how to incorporate green into their school uniform for Monday.

My son is already wearing his green bracelet and has chosen to wear his black tennis shoes with the green stripe on them.

My daughter has her hair bow selected along with her necklace (see Amazon link below) and ring. She and I spent some time this afternoon painting our nails green, of course.

I will enjoy donning my hat, green shirt, and matching necklace to tone down my nail polish. On Monday morning, I will send my little ones to school with their St. Patrick’s Day jokes in their lunch boxes. They enjoy getting jokes to share with their classmates.

Having posted St. Patrick’s Day party ideas and a list of St. Patrick’s Day activities in 2013, I hope you find lots of shamrock, rainbow, and leprechaun inspiration from these additional St. Patrick’s Day activities.

In celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, participating Sonic Drive-in locations will offer ½ price cheeseburgers all day on Monday, March 17, 2014.

This offer is good even if you don’t want to wear green. Of course, you want to show your Irish side, so even a little green will do. 😉

To find a participating location, check this store locator, and you might want to call before making a special trip.

With the ½ price cheeseburger only valid on Monday, March 17, 2014, mark your calendars if you want to snag this deal at a participating Sonic Drive-in.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Wendy’s: $1 Key Tag for a FREE Jr. Frosty with Each Purchase through August

March 14, 2014 by Tracy

Wendy’s: Key Tag Expires Sunday, August 31, 2014
Wendy’s: $1 Key Tag for a FREE Jr. Frosty with Each Purchase through August

Photograph Credit: Wendy’s

While we were on our mini-vacation for spring break, we stopped into Wendy’s for a quick bite to eat on Sunday afternoon.

On the counter was an advertisement for the $1 key tag.

Since we were planning to purchase a Frosty for each child, we purchased 3 key tags and received 3 Jr. Frosty desserts.

You see, for a limited time, Wendy’s is selling a $1 key tag.

When presented with a purchase, the cardholder receives a FREE Jr. Frosty from the date of purchase through August 2014.

Tracy’s Tip: The expiration date is on the back of the key tag. Some markets cut off this deal in June while others extend it into December. Check your card to verify the expiration date.

Though this offer is available now when some of you still see snow on the ground, the hot summer is coming and getting a FREE Jr. Frosty with any purchase is really refreshing.

The key tags slip right onto my key ring along with all my other loyalty cards. So, when we need a little break for some fries and a frosty, we will have our key tags ready to present at the time of our order.

Each key tag purchase supports the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption as all proceeds benefit children in foster care waiting to join a loving home through adoption.

Since we should have purchased 2 more key tags earlier this week, Miss 3 and I will have to make a stop next week at our local Wendy’s. If you support the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption and would usually purchase a Frosty, then purchase a $1 key tag before this offer melts. Happy giving and receiving!

Question: Do you prefer the vanilla frosty or the chocolate frosty?

Chick-fil-A: March Calendar Card Deal – FREE Chick-fil-A Sandwich

March 13, 2014 by Tracy

Chick-fil-A: Calendar CardIf your family uses one or more Chick-fil-A calendar cards, then the fan favorite deal for the month of March is a FREE Chick-fil-A sandwich.

Our family took a mini-vacation this past weekend and on our way home, we used 3 of our 4 Chick-fil-A calendar cards.

Feeding our family of 5 for less than $20 is a great deal. To feed our family, we ordered the following:

Paul

  • Chick-fil-A sandwich (FREE with calendar card) – $0
  • Medium waffle fries – $1.65
  • Medium coke to share – $1.55

Tracy

  • Chick-fil-A sandwich (FREE with calendar card) – $0
  • Yogurt parfait – $1.79
  • Medium sweet tea to share – $1.55

Mr. 8

  • Chick-fil-A sandwich (FREE with calendar card) – $0
  • Yogurt parfait – $1.79

Miss 6

  • 6-piece chicken nugget kid’s meal with waffle fries and Sprite to share – $3.99

Miss 3

  • 4-piece chicken nugget entrée – $1.52
  • Yogurt parfait – $1.79

Subtotal: $15.63

Tax: $1.09

Total: $16.72

By using our Chick-fil-A calendar cards, we saved $8.97 and kept our total below $20. We chose to share drinks as our children do not drink much, and refills are FREE. Finding a visit to Chick-fil-A a fun and reasonable family activity, we built in a visit while on our mini-vacation.

If you have a Chick-fil-A calendar card, remember to snag your FREE Chick-fil-A sandwich before March 31, 2014. Happy savings!
