Wow! This is by far the best deal I have seen on the magazine All You. As I always wait for a deal before renewing my subscription, I was thrilled with this drop in price.

My current subscription was due to expire in May, and I have been getting discount renewal notices for $7.50 for a 6-month subscription.

My target cost for this great magazine, that includes lots of high-valued coupons, is $1 per issue. As the prior notices have not been within my target range, I have ignored those offers.

I’m so glad I did as I was able to renew my subscription for another year at a total cost of $5.30 with tax or 44¢ an issue. 😀

If you have been waiting to try All You, then this is a great deal. I am considering purchasing another one to extend my subscription rate into 2016.

This 12 issues for $5 offer is fantastic and could end at anytime. I do not have any affiliation with All You, nor do I have an affiliate link associated with this deal.

I just know how much I love this magazine, find it useful for gathering coupons, and desire to help you in using your time and money wisely.

If you would not use the coupons, then save your money and ignore this deal. But if you use coupons and love this magazine, then spend the $5.30 to extend your subscription for another year. Happy savings!

Question: Do you subscribe to All You?

Sonic Drive-in: $1 Hot Dogs – February 17, 2014

In celebration of President’s Day, participating Sonic Drive-in locations will discount their all-American dog and chili cheese coney for $1.

My husband has tried Sonic hot dogs and found them large and plump.

The hot dog extends beyond the bun, so you will not get a mouthful of bread.

To find a participating location, check this store locator, and you might want to verify participation before heading out.

With the $1 hot dog deal only valid on Monday, February 17, 2014, mark your calendars if you want to snag this deal. Happy scheduling!

Question: Do you like hot dogs?

2014: Happy Valentine’s Day!

With little tokens of friendship all wrapped in pink and red, I love the celebration of hearts on Valentine’s Day.

Realizing that many look at Valentine’s Day as another opportunity for stores to sell trinkets, candy, and expensive cards, I choose to invest in those I love.

Miss 6 awoke with excitement in her eyes as she anticipated the day’s activities.

From special printable packs full of games and coloring to getting little notes from her classmates and friends, Miss 6 is continuing her celebration with joy and laughter.

May you find the excitement found in a 6-year-old child to embrace and love on those family and friends, whom you hold dear.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

2014: Snow Day Activities

February 14, 2014 by Tracy

2014: Snow Day Activities

2014: Snow Day ActivitiesThankful for a warm home, power, and a healthy family, we have enjoyed our snow days this week. Though it took some time for the snow to accumulate, we were not disappointed with the final results.

This afternoon, we enjoyed sledding and playing with our neighbors in the white stuff before it turned into slush. We tossed snowballs, made snow angels, sled down the hill, and built snowmen.

The time outdoors was great as we have been cooped up this week. We topped off the outdoor activities with an indoor hot chocolate treat. Yum!

2014: Snow Day Activities

The snow did what the train tracks, crafts, drawings, reading, and movie-watching from the last few days could not do. The trips up the snow-covered hill wore them out. All three of my kids were ready for bed tonight.

If you are still stuck indoors and needing some snow day activities to stay active, then try some of these activities:

Snow Day Baking

From this Snow Ice Cream Recipe posted by BeCentsAble to your favorite chocolate chip cookies, baking provides lots of fun in the kitchen while keeping your home warm.

Snow Day Crafts, Games, and More

From building a tent to pulling out the board games, kids hop from one activity to another. For the mama and daddy, who just need a little inspiration, check out these snow day activities posts:

Though Phil, the groundhog, says spring is on the way, we are still very much experiencing winter. My backyard is still thawing the snow, and Miss 3 is not happy that the snowmen are melting. As we could still see some more ice and snow in the coming weeks, these activities are close at hand.

Finding snow day activities lifesavers on these cold days, I am so grateful for the many bloggers who compile these lists and create these printable packs. I appreciate their hard work and willingly pass along their accomplishments that we all may enjoy them.

As I am off to bundle up under a warm blanket to watch the Olympics, may you stay warm, healthy, and energized with these snow day activities. Happy creating!

Question: Are you experiencing snow days this winter?

Look who’s turning 3 today! My husband jokingly refers to Using Time Wisely as my fourth child. In some ways, he is correct. In other ways, I do abandon the blog when life happens, and I never would abandon a child.

Gratefulness doesn’t seem to fully express how much I appreciate each and every reader. I am so honored you would use your time to subscribe by e-mail, follow on Facebook, and visit the website.

You amaze me with your consistent reading.

I am still very much learning how to blog. Having spent some time in the past week updating the Using Time Wisely sidebar, I have come a long way. I am thrilled with the progress made, but I have much I still want to do.

The site in general needs updating, and I would love to roll out a new look this year. With the program purchased, I might have to build the site back up from the ground. I am still in the research phase which is why the design has not changed.

On this third blogiversary, I am making some noise and celebrating you! Thank you for being part of the Using Time Wisely community. I appreciate the accountability provided within our community as we journey on to using time wisely. Happy celebrating!
