Home Depot: Tabletop Ship

Happy November! Not sure where this year has gone, but we are seizing these moments before 2013 passes us by.

If you are looking for a fun activity for this weekend, then consider stopping by your local Home Depot.

On the first Saturday of every month, Home Depot hosts a free Kids’ Workshop.

At the workshop, each child is given the monthly kit to build and keep, a free Kids’ Workshop apron, a commemorative pin for that project which can be pinned onto his apron, and a certificate of achievement.

The November project has a nautical theme.

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts: FREE Doughnut on October 31, 2013

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts invites you to their Doughnut Costume Party on Halloween Day – Thursday, October 31, 2013. Wear your costume to a participating United States or Canadian Krispy Kreme Doughnut location and get a FREE doughnut.

Our local Krispy Kreme Doughnuts shop is limiting the FREE doughnut to a Krispy Skreme doughnut: spider web creme-filled, pumpkin (jack-o-lantern) creme-filled, or chocolate-covered sprinkled glazed variety.

Having stopped by for a snack a couple weeks ago to test out the new doughnuts, I can recommend the spider web creme-filled while Miss 3 loved her pumpkin creme-filled, as it has orange frosting on the top.

Whichever doughnut you get to choose, enjoy a special treat and have a safe and sweet Halloween.
