You know how absolutely incredible your kids are, and participating Fazoli’s is celebrating with you on Thursday, March 21, 2013.

For their 17th Annual Absolutely Incredible Kid Day, Fazoli’s is preparing the following opportunity to encourage our children:

March 21 is the 17th Annual Absolutely Incredible Kid Day!

  • Absolutely Incredible Kid Day® is a holiday established by Camp Fire as a day adults and teens are asked to write letters of encouragement and inspiration to let children know how much they are appreciated.
  • Here at Fazoli’s we would like to use this day as a reminder for parents to let children know how special and amazing they are.
  • Parents are encouraged to write letters of support and encouragement to their children. (Download a blank letter here to print out and get you started).
  • All guests 12 and under who come into participating locations on March 21 will receive an Absolutely Incredible Kid Day Temporary Tattoo.
  • To make it even more special, guests 12 and under who visit our participating locations dressed up as a superhero or who bring in a copy of the letter from their parent will receive a FREE Kids Meal with Adult Entree Purchase.
  • Participating locations only.

Wishing Fazoli’s was still in our area – as our family enjoyed their baked spaghetti with fresh breadsticks, I will still participate by writing notes to my absolutely incredible kids. Happy doting on your children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends!

Rita’s: Free Italian Ice on March 20, 2013

On Wednesday, March 20, 2013, Rita’s Italian Ice celebrates the first day of spring by giving each guest a free Italian ice in an available flavor of your choice.

This event is quite popular in our area. Last year, our choice was limited to two flavors: lemonade or cherry. By narrowing the selection, our local Rita’s was able to keep up with the demand as many guests were served in a short amount of time.

To find a Rita’s Italian Ice location near you, click on this store locator. Schedule a stop between 12:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. to enjoy your first Italian ice of spring. Happy celebrating!

McDonald’s: $1 Spring Treat Coupon Booklets

March 15, 2013 by Tracy

McDonald's: $1 Spring Treat Coupon booklet

McDonald's: $1 Spring Treat Coupon bookletSelect McDonald’s restaurants are currently selling Spring Treat Coupon booklets for $1 each. Each booklet contains the following 12 coupons:

  • 3 Free apple dippers
  • 3 Free apple juice or white milk jug
  • 3 Free hamburgers
  • 3 Free small cones

If you find these booklets, then keep the restrictions in mind when you make your purchase:

  • Valid for children ages twelve and under
  • Limit of one coupon per customer per visit
  • All these coupons expire July 31, 2013

Though not every location carries these $1 Spring Treat Coupon booklets, I plan to call around to verify availability before heading out to purchase. In past years, I have not found these treat coupons in our area which is why I plan to call ahead.

These booklets are great for snacks, rewards, Easter baskets, and spontaneous treats. Hoping you can find these booklets in your area. Happy savings!

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts: Daylight Savings Time – March 10, 2013

On Sunday, March 10, 2013, those of us who participate will set our clocks ahead one hour. Though it seems like we lose an hour, we are actually cashing in the extra hour we banked in the fall.

In springing ahead and redeeming our hour, we can joy a sweet benefit. Celebrating Daylight Savings Time, participating Krispy Kreme Doughnuts locations will give each guest a free original glazed doughnut on Sunday, March 10, 2013.

With no purchase necessary or coupon required, you and your family can enjoy a sweet treat together. Check this listing for participating locations, set your clocks forward, and spend time with those you love enjoying an original glazed doughnut.

If you still have Valentine’s Day coupons remaining, those gifts expire on Friday, March 15. You definitely don’t want to lose an opportunity for a free doughnut of your choice. 😀

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts: Good Grades

March 1, 2013 by Tracy

Good grades

Good gradesHappy March 1st! Though it is still quite cold, I’m looking forward to Bruster’s PJ Day this weekend. Sweets are really hard to resist especially when they are free.

Have I mentioned that a new Krispy Kreme Doughnuts opened near us? Though I do not pass it every day, the weekly reminder is enough to draw me in. Of course, the Valentine coupons we have must be used in March, so we cannot let those coupons expire.

Last week, my children and I stopped by for an after-school treat using our Valentine’s Day coupons. After enjoying our doughnuts – sprinkles for my girls while my son and I chose a new Oreo cake doughnut, my son and older daughter showed their report cards for 6 glazed doughnuts each.

The manager came out to congratulate them and honor them with their half dozen doughnuts reward. As I was more impressed than my children with the manager’s kindness, my kids love the reward for getting good grades.

Reward: For each “A,” “B,” “E,” or “S” earned on your student’s report card, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts will reward him or her with an original glazed doughnut up to a limit of 6.

My children enjoy sharing their doughnuts at the breakfast table. Working together, they make sure everyone in the family gets a doughnut in celebration of a quarter well done.

Thank you, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, for encouraging my children to work hard by offering a sweet reward. Our family enjoys your generosity. Yum!

Question: Which establishments in your area offer rewards for good grades?
