Yeah! It’s my first blogiversary! Though it’s hard to believe it has been a year since my first official post, the day has arrived.
This past year has been a roller coaster ride, and I am far from knowing-it-all.
Though this year has had its challenges, I am thankful for each reader, commenter, and subscriber.
You brighten my days as I continue to practice using time wisely.
We must celebrate this wonderful occasion with a giveaway. The prize is a copy of Crystal Paine’s The Money Saving Mom’s Budget book. For reviewing her book, Crystal sent me a copy which I will send to one of my fabulous readers.
One lucky Using Time Wisely reader will receive a copy of The Money Saving Mom’s Budget.

In publishing a review of Crystal’s soon-to-be released book, The Money Saving Mom’s Budget, I received a gift from Crystal, a link back to Using Time Wisely. (Thanks, Crystal!)
Whether you arrived through Crystal’s link on moneysavingmom.com, a search engine, or direct hit, welcome!
My name is Tracy Morrison, the organizer behind Using Time Wisely. As a wife and mother to 3 children (ages 6 and under), I strive to stay organized and ahead of schedule. Though some of my experiments fail, I learn and share through the process.
At Using Time Wisely, I post my tips and tricks daily to save you money, energy, and time.
The topic of each daily post pertains to the category assigned for that day of the week:
Sunday: Document Organization
Monday: Household
Tuesday: Event Planning
Wednesday: Miscellaneous
Thursday: Food
Friday: Family Activities
Saturday: Stretching your Dollars
Life is too short to spend most of your time keeping the house clean, the laundry complete, and meals made. By designating a place for each item, removing the clutter, and teaching family members how to help, you, too, can enjoy using time wisely with your family while the household runs like clockwork.
Ready to get daily tips and tricks to using your time wisely? Follow the daily posts: subscribe by e-mail, RSS feed (through a reader), and “like” me on Facebook. Glad to have you, and until next time . . . happy organizing!

Ringing in 2012 with my husband and two older children snuggled on my bed watching Ryan Seacrest and Dick Clark for the countdown. My children are giddy with excitement waiting for the ball to drop. It is a special time for our family as we look forward to what the new year will bring.
Wishing you and your family a fantastic 2012!

As I began writing my thank you notes from the events this month, I was amazed at the blessings poured out upon our family. The encouraging words, helpful assistance, and extended visits invested in my life and the lives of my family leave me feeling overwhelmingly blessed.
Though a personal thank you note from me will not arrive in your mailbox, I am truly thankful for each of my readers.
This initial year of blogging has been a roller coaster ride. As I learned and conquered one task, I found that I disrupted another. Your patience and continued support has encouraged me as I continue to find my own writing style and work to keep the posts appropriate, timely, and accurate.
With the conclusion of 2011, I have no regrets. This year has been a fantastic learning experience, and I look forward to forging ahead in 2012. Thanks for taking this journey with me. Your support of Using Time Wisely through your readership, comments, and posts continues to warm my heart. May you finish your 2011 with no regrets.
