Guess What Day It Is?

November 13, 2013 by Tracy

What Day Is It?On Wednesdays, it is the norm around our home to hear something like this (usually from my husband waking up Miss 3 first thing in the morning):

“Uh oh, guess what day it is?

Guess what DAY it is?

Huh?

Anybody?

Hey, guess what day it is?

Oh, common on, common on, I know you can hear me?

Hey, hey, hey! Guess what today is?”

(Waiting)

“It’s Hump Day.”

“WOO HOO!”

Yeah, it’s hump day.”

(Lots of smiles, giggles, and laughs)

On one of our family outings to a local zoo, our 3-year-old burst out with this monologue from the GEICO advertisement. We were riding the safari bus and saw the camels. Sitting on her Daddy’s lap, Miss 3 bursts out with “Uh oh, guess what day it is?” resulting in lots of laughs from our family and those around us.

This conversation gets repeated throughout the day on Wednesdays in our circles. It is a great pick-me-up when doing homework or to get a smile from a co-worker or family member.

As you go throughout your Wednesday, have a bit of fun. If you haven’t seen the GEICO commercial or just want to watch it again, then enjoy this embedded video from GEICO’s YouTube channel.

Happy Hump Day!

Happy 2nd Blogiversary to you, Jen!

Regarding the post, yes, Miss 3 smiles and enjoys her Daddy time along with the humor. It does make getting up a little easier, especially on these cold mornings. Thanks for stopping by to comment.
