Happy March 1st! Though it is still quite cold, I’m looking forward to Bruster’s PJ Day this weekend. Sweets are really hard to resist especially when they are free.
Have I mentioned that a new Krispy Kreme Doughnuts opened near us? Though I do not pass it every day, the weekly reminder is enough to draw me in. Of course, the Valentine coupons we have must be used in March, so we cannot let those coupons expire.
Last week, my children and I stopped by for an after-school treat using our Valentine’s Day coupons. After enjoying our doughnuts – sprinkles for my girls while my son and I chose a new Oreo cake doughnut, my son and older daughter showed their report cards for 6 glazed doughnuts each.
The manager came out to congratulate them and honor them with their half dozen doughnuts reward. As I was more impressed than my children with the manager’s kindness, my kids love the reward for getting good grades.
Reward: For each “A,” “B,” “E,” or “S” earned on your student’s report card, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts will reward him or her with an original glazed doughnut up to a limit of 6.
My children enjoy sharing their doughnuts at the breakfast table. Working together, they make sure everyone in the family gets a doughnut in celebration of a quarter well done.
Thank you, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, for encouraging my children to work hard by offering a sweet reward. Our family enjoys your generosity. Yum!
Question: Which establishments in your area offer rewards for good grades?
Jean says
I’ll have to remember this when my boys get their report cards which I think should be coming soon. I think Chuck E. Cheese does something around here.

Good thought on Chuck E. Cheese as our location offers free tokens with a purchase. One of the six Chick-fil-A’s in town offers a free ice dream on a scheduled night. Checking local establishments has been the best resource for finding good grade rewards. If you find other offers, please post a comment sharing the details. Thanks for the comment, Jean!
