Chick-fil-A: September Calendar Card Deal

September 29, 2014 by Tracy

022If you purchased or received the Chick-fil-A calendar for 2014 and have used your card to redeem for FREE offers, then you quickly made your $6 back. Our family purchased four cards for our family because we love Chick-fil-A.

With the September calendar card deal of a FREE breakfast entrée and a large Coca-cola drink, my children and I headed to Chick-fil-A on Friday morning. Having worked really hard this week, we were able to take Friday off.

We spent the day making a quick doctor’s visit before heading to Chick-fil-A for breakfast. Mr. 9 ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit while the girls chose Chick-fil-A biscuits, and I selected the chicken, egg, and cheese bagel. Yum! The drinks were huge but came in handy while playing with our friends for 4 hours at the park.

Though you may not get to make a special outing out of the September calendar card deal, you can redeem your offer for a FREE breakfast entrée and a large Coca-cola drink. Just remember, your offer must be redeemed by September 30, 2014, as the deal will reset on October 1. Happy planning!

Chick-fil-A: August Calendar Card Deal – FREE Large Drink

August 28, 2014 by Tracy

Chick-fil-A: Calendar CardAugust is winding down already. I feel like it flew by.

Homeschooling is going great! I have so much to post, but my days and nights are invested in curriculum, grading, and preparing for the next day.

We are finding our groove and the learning is occurring in leaps and bounds. It is really exciting, and I love teaching my children all.the.time.

With all our happenings this month, we haven’t visited Chick-fil-A in August – yet. For the August Calendar Card Deal, each cardholder will receive a FREE large Coca-Cola soft drink of your choice. The card says soft drink, but most Chick-fil-A restaurants will substitute the soft drink for tea or lemonade.

If you have a Chick-fil-A calendar card, remember to snag your FREE large drink before Saturday, August 30, 2014. Though this offer officially ends on August 31, Chick-fil-A locations are closed on Sundays. Therefore, Saturday is the last day for this deal. Happy savings!

Question: How often does your family visit Chick-fil-A?

June is almost at a close. If you have your Chick-fil-A Calendar Card and have not redeemed your June deal, then you still have until Monday to get your mystery offer.

With a new sandwich offering, Chick-fil-A chose the grilled chicken sandwich complete with lettuce and tomato. The mystery offer also includes a large drink.

When our family headed out to Chick-fil-A last week, Paul, Mr. 9, and I received the new offer. Though it was good, the new sandwich does not trump the original Chick-fil-A sandwich.

The FREE Chick-fil-A grilled chicken sandwich with the large drink offer is only valid through Monday, June 30, 2014, with your activated Calendar Card. Happy savings!

Chick-fil-A: Cow Appreciation Day – July 11, 2014

Chick-fil-A: Cow Appreciation Day - July 11, 2014

One of our family’s favorite days of the year is on the horizon. We are so excited because Chick-fil-A’s Cow Appreciation Day is Friday, July 11, 2014.

Last year, we left for our family vacation to Florida on this special day. We were treated all day to FREE Chick-fil-A from South Carolina to Florida.

My favorite stop was in Gainsville, Florida, where the cow was dressed in a Florida Gator cheerleading costume.

With the big event 2 weeks away, it is time to get out the cow gear. If you dress from head to hoof in cow attire, then Chick-fil-A will reward you with a FREE meal.

Not into costumes? Well, you can still receive a FREE entrée with partial cow attire (e.g., shirt, hat, tail, etc.).

Chick-fil-A Created Costume

In case you need some inspiration for your cow costume, you can download the Chick-fil-A Cow Starter Kit. Just print out the parts and place them on cardboard, poster board, or stick them to your clothes.

If you do the latter, you might want to safety pin the items as they will fall off with tape. I can speak from experience as we were constantly picking up parts of our costumes when we taped them to ourselves. It was fun but a bit of a hassle.

Our Family’s Created Costumes

Knowing that this event comes around once a year, I waited for a sale on t-shirts and painted our own shirts. Then, my parents gave us Chick-fil-A cow bells which were fun last year.

Easy Costume

Another option is to cut holes in a white t-shirt. Wear a solid black shirt and add the holey white shirt on top. Add black shorts, black shoes, and a crown with ears/horns for a complete outfit.

Get creative because you have two weeks to get mooo-ving. Cow Appreciation Day is lots of fun (our family in 2011 and 2012) with some locations offering FREE coupons and giveaways that day.

Be sure to mark your calendar for Friday, July 11, 2014, and enjoy your FREE meal or entrée for your investment of time. Happy appreciating the cows!

Chick-fil-A: May Calendar Card Deal – FREE Entrée Salad

For our date night, Paul and I headed to a local Chick-fil-A, without a playground, for dinner and conversation.

We used our May calendar card deal where we both chose the new Chick-fil-A grilled market salad.

This entrée included blueberries, strawberries, apples, and feta cheese on a bed of lettuce topped with grilled strips of chicken. We also received packets of granola and nuts for extra seasoning.

We both liked our FREE entrée salad. I can also recommend the Chick-fil-A Cobb salad as I snagged one with another calendar card earlier this month.

My Cobb salad included tomatoes, corn, bacon, cheddar cheese, diced eggs, and carrots on a bed of lettuce. A packet of crispy red bell peppers gave the salad a pop of flavor.

If you have a Chick-fil-A calendar card, remember to snag your FREE entrée salad of your choice before May 31, 2014. Happy savings!

Question: What is your favorite salad ingredient?
