2014: Happy Valentine’s Day!

With little tokens of friendship all wrapped in pink and red, I love the celebration of hearts on Valentine’s Day.

Realizing that many look at Valentine’s Day as another opportunity for stores to sell trinkets, candy, and expensive cards, I choose to invest in those I love.

Miss 6 awoke with excitement in her eyes as she anticipated the day’s activities.

From special printable packs full of games and coloring to getting little notes from her classmates and friends, Miss 6 is continuing her celebration with joy and laughter.

May you find the excitement found in a 6-year-old child to embrace and love on those family and friends, whom you hold dear.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Happy Valentine’s Day! My children are ready to present their friends with Valentine treats. Watching them get excited to give to others is my Valentine’s gift.

Understanding that some of you find this day difficult, I thank you for being a gift to me. You give of your time to read Using Time Wisely to which I am grateful.

As you celebrate Valentine’s Day in your special way, I present Joanna Fuch’s Valentine Gift.

Valentine Gift

On Valentine’s Day,
I’m thinking about
the special ways
you have made my life better,
the little things,
the not-so-little things…
your kindness,
the way you always listen
and pay attention to me.
You make my world
brighter and richer.
You’re a gift to me,
and I thank you
for being you.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

My daughter enjoyed the process much more as she carefully chose the items for each of her classmates. Though we have not written out her cards from Krispy Kreme Doughnuts yet, her packages are complete.
